Thanksgiving break starts today for me!! All my classes are cancelled today and tomorrow BYU decided to make a Tuesday be a Friday and since I don't have class on Fridays.... I am off the hook. Besides teaching dance and working at Avenia Bridal I have a whole week off. I could not be more excited to sew, design, sleep, eat, play games, and chill with my family.

I know this isn't really ready-to-wear but evening wear is my favorite so I thought that I might as well show an outfit I wish I had an event to wear it to. I made my senior prom dress in high school and I cut it into a skirt for my collection. I figured I could maybe at least get some more use out of it! I spent so many hours on these ruffles and couldn't just let them sit in a box. I styled it with a teal top and a beaded belt for my fashion show.

I made this skirt to wear at the fashion show last spring where I showed my collection. It is perfect for so many occasions and so easy to dress up and down. I wore the outfit above to a wedding reception last weekend, and styled it more casual below at my photoshoot.
