 If I had a pretty occasion to wear this outfit to on Thanksgiving I would have. We kept it pretty low-key this year though. Thursday with Taylor's immediate family, Friday with my immediate family. I made this skirt for Thanksgiving in 2008 and it is such a perfect piece for fall.

I made this skirt quite a few years ago (2008) and found it smashed in my closet needing to be re-visited. I have been LOVING the monochrome look lately so I paired it with my red/orange sweater. My outfit seemed to match my favorite trees this time of year. There is this one batch of trees I pass almost everyday with the most vibrant and beautiful shades of orange, red, and gold with just a hint of green... I love Autumn.

Summer Favorites: gold sparkle dress + chartreuse

I thought I'd end my "Summer Favorites" series with my most favorite summer purchase, this lovely Anthro dress. I fell in love the minute I saw it and it was half off so I couldn't resist! To make it more summery I paired it with a bright shirt and some golden heels. This dress will transition perfectly into fall as well and can't wait to pair it with something more cozy and warm.
