It has been raining in the city which has cooled the temperature down - thank heavens! So I was able to be comfortable in some of the heavier weight shirts I brought. I wore this on Tuesday when my husband and I celebrated our 1 month anniversary! French food at Le Grainne Cafe and pie at Billy's Bakery.

I found these GORGEOUS hydrangea's in someones "yard" between Park and Madison and fell in love - thought they went perfectly with my dress! Such a beautiful and unique find down the concrete streets.

I bought this sweater for literally $10 (somehow all the promo's worked out in my favor) and it is one of my FAVORITE pieces. 

As I was packing for the hot/humid new york city I discovered I really love warm clothes (sweaters, wool, layering, pants, etc.) and not so much summer weather clothes. In Utah I could fight the heat because I'd be inside all day working or at school so I could still wear a light sweater or cardigan and pants. The city is not so forgiving when you are traveling 30 minutes on a sweaty subway train to get to work.. Let's just say my wardrobe this summer may be less than exciting. I hardly own any lightweight T-shirts or shorts. And forget the heels... sadly. I only packed 3 pairs - for church and very special occasions.

But I'm finally back in my city!!! And really that is all that matters!

May 3: Wax at Wax Me Too by Jessica, arranging flowers for the wedding with my Aunts

May 4: Hair and makeup by Versa Artistry, SEALING to my sweetheart at 10:30 a.m. in the Manti Utah Temple, photographs by the lovely Rebekah Westover, luncheon with family and friends with Mr. and Mrs. Taylor Wilkins, wedding celebration - finally seeing all my designs and ideas come to life!!!

May 5-12: Plane ride to Florida! Treasure Island beach house for 1 week!

May 12-19: Drive to Orlando! Disneyworld for 1 week!

May 19-28 (ish): Fly back to Utah and stay at Zermatt Villa in Midway, pack for the summer

May 28 (ish): Fly to NYC where we will be living for the summer!!!! Happy internship!
