I thought I'd end my "Summer Favorites" series with my most favorite summer purchase, this lovely Anthro dress. I fell in love the minute I saw it and it was half off so I couldn't resist! To make it more summery I paired it with a bright shirt and some golden heels. This dress will transition perfectly into fall as well and can't wait to pair it with something more cozy and warm.

I love the classic paring of white and blue jeans. It is summery and simple - the perfect combo. Of course I can't go a day without my gold accents and since there was a little neckline detail on this blouse I chose to add some arm candy and bigger earrings.

We spent Saturday at one of our favorite spots - the Highline in Chelsea. We ate the best ice cream at Ronnybrook Dairy and took in the beautiful skyline and plants on the old railroad.
Saying bye to NYC is hard. Nine more months until we are back. BUT we are happy to be away from the hustle and bustle for a while and be in the mountains surrounded by family and friends.

As summer comes to an end I thought I would pick my last few outfits based on some of my favorite summer pieces and trends.
For this look I chose my favorite purchase of the summer - this cream summer sweatshirt. I am such a sucker for comfy clothes and sweats so being able to wear a sweatshirt in the summer was perfect for me. I paired it with my brightest neon and my favorite staple item - my golden sperry's. Naturally I finished off the look by borrowing my husband's Timex (perks to a having a fashionable husband!) and I kept the rest of my jewelry simple for those lazy laid back days.

We spent our last Friday date night celebrating a successful summer and the end of our summer internship/job at Shake Shack followed by walking down Central Park West.

I always have a cart full of clothes at J.Crew and J.Crew Factory online, just sitting there so I can at least dream about all the items I wish I had the money to buy.. As I was going through my selections the other day I noticed a very dominant theme.

Happy Friday everyone! Taylor and I will be packing up our little sublet apartment here in NYC this weekend and will be heading back to Utah on Monday to move into our new apartment and get ready for the new semester at BYU to start. We will definitely miss the city (until next summer) but are ready to get back and see family/friends and start the next school year in our business programs.
